31st NIAF Gala - (National Italian American Foundation)

Standing ovation at the end of "Nessun Dorma", tribute to Luciano Pavarotti performed by Vittorio at the NIAF Gala, which took place in Washington last October, 13.

The NIAF (National Italian American Foundation) represents 20 millions of Americans of Italian origin. At the Gala were present the First Lady Laura Bush, the presidential candidate Rudolph Giuliani, the speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Martin Scorsese, the Italian Ambassador in the States Giovanni Castellaneta, the US Ambassador in Italy Ronald P. Spogli, the Supreme Court Judges Samuel Alito and Antonio Scalia, the General Peter Pace, the President of the Georgetown Entertainment Group Franco Nuschese, Gina Lollobrigida, the Mayor of Milan Letizia Moratti and many other important people of the Italian American scene.
