Vittorio scored another highly successful debut this week – with his first-ever performance of Roméo in Gounod’s opera Roméo et Juliette at Milan’s celebrated opera house La Scala. Not only was the enthusiastic audience impressed by his performance, but the critics were as well.
One of Italy's most important newspapers "Corriere della Sera" writes:

“... an excellent performance by the tenor, Vittorio Grigolo, in the role of Roméo: a mellow timbre, elegant phrasing and a well-defined characterization”
